Beloit College and Legacy.com have teamed up to offer an online memorial site that allows visitors to pay tribute to those Beloit community members who have passed away.

Legacy.com is an online media company that partners with major newspapers—including 800 publications in America, Australia, and Europe—to provide online obituaries and a forum for visitors to post condolences and remembrances. Founded in 1998, Legacy.com is led by two Beloit College alumni: CEO Stopher Bartol’88 and Chief Marketing Officer John Bikus’89.

With a special memorial site established for Beloiters, alumni and friends will benefit from Legacy.com’s established online network of newspaper and funeral home affiliates while also gaining access to customized Beloit College content, such as alumni organized by class year. Visitors to the site can read obituaries and view and post to guest books.

The easy-to-use site is organized with a featured memorial and most-viewed memorials, along with the option of searching the site by name or by class year. As of press time, 252 memorials had been linked to the Beloit College site.
