Four Buccaneers were inducted into the college’s Athletic Hall of Honor in a ceremony held in the Center for the Sciences atrium during Homecoming festivities at the end of September. From left are Eddie Rock’99, who led the men’s soccer team in scoring his senior year at Beloit; middle-distance runner and record-setter Laura Carpenter’01; Henry Grant’02, one of only two Beloiters to win conference “player of the year” recognition, for his role on the basketball team; and Craig Cleland’90, a football tight end whose yards-per-catch record still stands.
