Come Together
Posted by admin on 11/16/12 • Categorized as Fall/Winter 2012One came from a high school graduating class of five; another from a massive class of more than 1,200. Five came from Alaska. Eleven hailed from the college’s own ZIP code, 53511, while another traveled 7,896 miles—all the way from Kenya—to get to Beloit. Whatever their points of origin, their glorious differences and striking individuality, this group of 367 students will share a common identity forever: they are the Beloit College class of 2016. They took their place on campus on Aug. 20, 2012, otherwise known as “move-in day.”
